GUEST SPEAKER: Senator Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada was the guest speaker during the 46th Commencement Exercises of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) held today April 22, 2014 in PICC, Pasay City. In his commencement address, Sen. Estrada recognized the youth and the graduates as “agents of progress” and imparted to them some important life lessons he learned through the years including love of family, to always be grateful, and to bravely face the challeneges head on. In the same speech, he also vehemently denied accusations against him in relation to the pork barrel scandal. “I never received or pocketed any amounts from Mrs. Napoles, Mrs. Tuason, or any person associated with her or the non-government organizations. I did not steal a single centavo from public funds or from my PDAF. Kahit mamaos ako at mawalan ng boses o makulitan kayo sa akin, pa-ulit-ulit kong sasabihin ito dahil ito ang pawang katotohanan,” he said.
