LAUNCH OF PHILIPPINE MARINE BIODIVERSITY VIDEO DOCUMENTARY: Senator Loren Legarda, together with Director Brillante Mendoza and Robert Suntay of the Network of Underwater Digital Imagers (NUDI), launches the video documentary on Philippine Marine Biodiversity during Earth Day, April 22, at the Museum of the Filipino People, Manila.

Legarda, Chair of the Senate Committee on Environment, said “this documentary is part of my continuing advocacy to educate and enlighten Filipinos about marine life, how it affects our own life and livelihood, what is at stake if we lose these resources and what we can and must do to protect our seas.”

The documentary was produced by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and the Philippine Information Agency, and directed by Mendoza using videos from Suntay and Greenpeace.
