COURTESY CALL WITH INDONESIAN AMBASSADOR: Senate President Franklin M. Drilon receives the new Indonesian Ambassador, Johny Josephus Lumintang, during a courtesy call at the Senate of the Philippines today, September 16, 2014. Drilon and Lumintang discussed ways of promoting greater bilateral relations, particularly in increasing trade between the two countries and in encouraging Indonesian students to study in the Philippines. Drilon also took the opportunity to thank the Indonesian government for extending its assistance in the wake of Typhoon Yolanda, as well as for its continued support to the peace process in Mindanao.
