MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES: Senate President Franklin M. Drilon accepts a token of appreciation from Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) President Greg Navarro and MAP National Issues Committee Governor-in-Charge Peter Wallace during the MAP general membership meeting at the Manila Peninsula Hotel in Makati City, Monday morning. Drilon, who discussed the government’s legislative agenda, said that Congress is scheduled to pass the Fair Competition Act once session resumes. "Having a competition law and policy in place will foster the competitive environment in our national economy. Competition spurs economic efficiency and innovation, and attracts investments, all of which lead to lower prices, higher quality of products and services, and more choices for consumers," explained Drilon.
