DOH PREPARES FOR EBOLA: Senator Teofisto Guingona III, chairman of the Senate Committee on Health and Demography, listen to health officials led by Secretary Enrique Ona as they enumerate the contingency measures undertaken by the Department of Health (DOH) to prevent an ebola outbreak in the country. According to Ona, three hospitals in Metro Manila, namely the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM), Lung Center of the Philippines and San Lazaro Hospital, are equipped and ready to receive patients infected with the ebola virus.
