FARMER COMMENDED: The Senate commended Mayor Nacianceno "Jun" Mejos Pacalioga, Jr. for winning the One World Award 2012 in Legau, Germany. In Senate Resolution No. 61, the Senate honored Pacalioga for besting finalists from other countries for his work in promoting organic agriculture and sustainable rural development in Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur. Sen. Cynthia Villar, author of the resolution, said the mayor should be emulated for his effort to introduce farming techniques and technologies that will help farmers improve their yield.
