GUINGONA SIGNS ARREST WARRANT AGAINST JUNJUN BINAY: Senator Teofisto “TG” Guingona III, head of the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee, signs the warrant of arrest for Makati Mayor Junjun Binay and five other Makati officials, Monday, January 26, 2015. Guingona, upon the recommendation of Sen. Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel, moved to cite the six in contempt for failing to heed a Senate subpoena requiring them to attend the Senate subcommittee hearing investigating the allegedly overpriced Makati City Hall 2 parking building. The five other officials cited in contempt and ordered detained by the committee are Eleno Mendoza, Eduviges Ebeng Baloloy, Marjorie de Veyra, Line Dela Pena, and Bernadette Portollano.
