AGRI SMUGGLING HEARING: Senator Cynthia A. Villar, chairperson of the Senate Agriculture and Food Committee, conducts hearing on Senate Resolutions which seeks to make smuggling of agricultural products economic sabotage, a non-bailable offense. She laments nothing happened to the cases filed against smugglers, but with economic sabotage, they will remain in jail while being prosecuted.
