TRIBUTE TO FORMER SENATOR BUTZ AQUINO: Roxanne Aquino, daughter of former Senator Butz Aquino who passed away Monday, talks fondly about her father after receiving a resolution from Senate President Franklin M. Drilon honoring the late senator for his "invaluable contribution and unwavering diligence as a legislator." Aquino served as senator from 1987 to 1995 and as representative for the 2nd district of Makati from 1998 to 2007. He was responsible for several landmark laws such as the Magna Carta for Small Farmers, the Cooperative Code of the Philippines, and the Seed Industry Development Act of 1992, among others.
