INT’L DAY FOR DRR: Senator Loren Legarda at the Rice Terraces in Kiangan, Ifugao. The Ifugaos were cited by the UNISDR as Champion of Resilience for utilizing indigenous knowledge in building resilience and for their active role in protecting the Rice Terraces of the Philippine Cordilleras, a UNESCO world heritage site.
