INDEPENDENCE DAY RITES: Sen. Cynthia A. Villar leads the 118th Independence Day celebration at the historic Barasoain Church in Malolos, Bulacan. In her message, Villar said she believes there are particular needs, conditions and challenges of every generation in every year, decade or century. While the country regained its independence from our conquerors, she said Filipinos are not yet free from the bondage of poverty. Due to this, the senador has been providing livelihood programs to help our people out of poverty. Also in the photo with Villar was Bulacan PNP Regional Director Supt. Aaron Aquino.
