SEN. PIMENTEL ATTENDS FLAG RAISING CEREMONY: Senator Koko Pimentel, the incoming Senate President of the 17th Congress, tells officials and employees of the Senate not to worry about a shift to the Federal System of Government, during Monday’s flag raising ceremony. Pimentel explained that under a Federal-Presidential system of government, Pimentel said that there will be a much larger Senate, thus there is a possibility of hiring more employees while retaining the rest. “Since I am joining the President’s call to end contractualization, I have to be consistent and call for the minimization of casualization.
