BULACAN FARM SCHOOL: Senator Cynthia A. Villar, chair of the Senate Agriculture and Food Committee, led the opening of a farm school in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. This will be the second farm school by the Villar SIPAG (Social Institute for Poverty Alleviation and Governance). The first farm school was built in the boundary of Las Piñas and Bacoor, Cavite. The farm school intends to help marginalized small-scale farmers become self-sufficient by giving them knowledge in agricultural technology. The senator was joined by (From L-R): Agriculture Sec.
