PIMENTEL IS KEYNOTE SPEAKER IN FEDERALISM FORUM: Senate President Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III (4th from left), was the keynote speaker in a forum entitled “From Decentralization to Federalism: The Next Stage of Philippine Democracy?” held at the City Garden Grand Hotel in Makati City, September 22, 2016. “Let us have a multipolar Philippines with many centers of power, so that hopefully, being a center a power, there will be economic progress in that center of power. If we can go from one federal government and after the federal government to regional governments, then hopefully now with regional governments there will be areas of development in the regions because there is real power to be given to the regional centers,” Pimentel said during the event.
