WOMEN EMPOWERMENT: Using her influence as a woman in governance, Senator Cynthia A. Villar promotes the welfare and well-being of women and their families through livelihood generation and other projects. The senator, a known advocate of women was the resource speaker during the 2017 Global Peace Awards Gala of the Global Peace Foundation Philippines' Global Peace Convention at Manila Marriott Hotel, Pasay City.
