PUSHING FOR CULTURALLY ADAPTIVE LEARNING FOR IPs: Senate Committee on Cultural Communities chair Senator Nancy Binay gives a keynote speech before the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples' (NCIP) culturally adaptive basic education and health integrating indigenous knowledge systems and practices (CABEH-IIKSP) project conference at the Madison 101 Hotel, in Quezon City earlier today. The lady senator congratulated the efforts of NCIP and the Department of Education (DepEd) for the continuing implementation of the third phase of the CABEH-IIKSP project. She also suggested the active participation of the local government units (LGUs) and local colleges and universities in preserving IPs' culture and historical research.
