EMBARKING ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP: Senator Cynthia A. Villar reminds the graduates of the City College of Calamba that there is always an option for them to go into entrepreneurship—to be an entrepreneur, to employ people instead of getting employed. In her speech during the school's Commencement Exercises, Villar cites the need to be ready for the challenges that await them after graduation, including the fact the the unemployment rate is still high. The senator, who has been known for providing livelihood program to poor communities, emphasizes that entrepreneurship is one of the most effective tools to curb poverty.
