SENATOR ANGARA KEYNOTES ARAW NG MATI CELEBRATION: Sen. Sonny Angara, chairman of the Senate committee on local government is the first-ever nationally-elected public official to attend the "Araw ng Mati" celebration in Mati City, Davao Oriental. "I feel privileged and honored to be part of this year's program," quipped Angara, a known advocate and champion of rural development since his first entry in public service more than a decade ago, as local officials expressed their gratitude to him for taking time out from his hectic schedule to spend time with his constituents from Mindanao.
