VOTING FOR MARTIAL LAW EXTENSION: Senate President Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel III raises his hand to vote in favor of extending Proclamation 216, or the declaration of Martial Law in the whole of Mindanao, during the special joint session of Congress on Saturday, July 22, 2017. During the session, sixteen (16) senators including Pimentel voted to extend martial rule in Mindanao until the end of the year, while four (4) senators voted against the extension being sought by President Rodrigo Duterte.
