Danish Ambassador pays courtesy call: Senate President Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III welcomes Danish Ambassador to the Philippines, Jan Top Christensen, during a courtesy call at the Philippine Senate on 8 January 2018. Ambassador Christensen informed the Senate President of the visit to the Philippines of a delegation from the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Danish Parliament in March. He said the delegation would like to learn about the current Philippine political system and the proposed shift to a federal system of government. The Ambassador also welcomed the Philippine Government’s decision to open a Philippine Embassy in Copenhagen this year which he believes will result to stronger relations between the two countries.
