Sen. Cynthia A. Villar leads edible garden launch: Partnering with DENR and Bureau of Soil and Waste Management (BSWM), Sen. Cynthia A. Villar leads the launching of Gulayan sa Gasangan (Edible Gardening) during a livelihood and clean-up caravan in Baseco, Tondo, yesterday. Villar, chair of the Senate agriculture and food committee, believes that edible gardening has proven to be a very simple but effective platform in solving two of our country’s challenges- poor nutrition and lack of livelihood. She has been known for providing livelihood opportunities to improve the lives of our people particularly those living in poor communities. Also in the phofo with the senator is MMDA General Manager Danny Lim.
