Villar leads celebration of world radio day: Sen. Cynthia Villar opened the forum in observance of the UNESCO World Radio Day at the Senate with the theme, Sports in Development and Promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)." Villar, author of Proposed Senate Resolution No. 1178 which seeks to recognize the World Radio Day on February 13 of every year, said sports broadcasters and journalists are "our allies and partners in ensuring that we achieve our SDGs or any other goals we have in diversity, gender equality, peace and development."
