Rehabilitating Marawi: Senator JV Ejercito, chair of the Senate Subcommittee on Housing under the Ad Hoc Committee on Marawi Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, and Senator Sherwin Gatchalian listen to Marawi City officials led by Mayor Madjul Gandamra as they discuss the government’s housing and rehabilitation plan to expedite the reconstruction and recovery of the province. Also discussed during the Senate hearing were the construction of temporary and permanent shelters for the displaced residents of Marawi, as well as the restoration of water, electricity and other public utilities.
