Sen. Cynthia A. Villar inspires PUP Grads: With the high unemployment rate, Sen. Cynthia A. Villar reminds the graduates of the PUP- San Juan campus in Quezon City, not to be disappointed if they fail to land a job. She tells them there is always an option to go into entrepreneurship- to be an entrepreneur and employ people. But she assured them that with the quality education they got from PUP, they can be easily employed. Since she became a lawmaker, starting as a congresswoman, Villar says education has always been among her priorities. She was the House committee Higher and Technical Education chair during the passage of 28 bills on promoting high quality of education and advanced education which included the ladderized approach and open-university.
