Villar calls hearing on Manila Bay clean up: Sen. Cynthia Villar, chairperson of the Committee on Environment and Natural Resources, presides over a hearing to look into the measures taken by 13 government agencies ordered by the Supreme Court to lead the clean up, rehabilitation and preservation of Manila Bay. Villar expressed concern that a decade after the writ of continuing mandamus was issued, there is still no significant improvement in the waters of Manila Bay.
