New Senate Secretary leads morning rites: Newly named Senate Secretary Myra Villarica asks for the support and cooperation of Senate employees “in fostering a better working environment for all” during her first address at the institution’s Monday morning flag rites, June 4, 2018. Villarica vowed that she would be fair and would always be open to suggestions on how the Senate Secretariat could improve its service to the nation. “I very much welcome your ideas on where we could give the best support and assistance to our senators,” she said.
