Senate Transport Co-Op Launches Modernized Jeepneys: Senate President Vicente Sotto III, along with Senators Sherwin Gatchalian and Juan Miguel Zubiri, leads the ribbon cutting rites for the launch of the Senate Employees Transport Service Cooperative (SETSCO)’s pilot operation of 35 modernized jeepneys under the government’s Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) modernization program on Monday, June 18, 2018. The operation of the modernized jeepneys by SETSCO, a transport cooperative run by Senate employees since 2004, is the first of its kind under the PUV modernization program headed by the Department of Transportation (DOTr).
