Sen. Cynthia Villar at the PCA 32nd National Coconut week & 1st World Coconut Congress: Sen. Cynthia Villar hopes this event will open up numerous opportunities, not only business-related ones, but also the sharing of best practices, information, technology and others among the participants for spur the growth of the coconut sector. In the event held at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City, the chair of the Senate agriculture committee, also commends the United Coconut Association of the Philippines (UCAP) in cooperation with the PCA, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and various chambers of commerce for organizing the 1st World Coconut Congress. The senator vows to continue helping the coconut industry and the coconut farmers to beat poverty.
