RP-EU collaboration: Senate President Vicente C. Sotto III receives EU Ambassador to the Philippines, H.E. Franz Jessen, during the latter’s courtesy call at the Philippine Senate on 18 September 2018. They discussed the EU’s continuing commitment to help the drug rehabilitation program of President Duterte. They also recognized the importance of the EU’s GSP+ Scheme which has visibly improved the Philippines’ trade volume with the EU, making the EU the second largest export market and the fourth largest trading partner of the Philippines.
