Remembering SEJA: Holy mass was held today at the Senate in honor of former Senate President Edgardo J. Angara to commemorate his first birth anniversary since his passing earlier this year.

The former Senate chief from Baler, Aurora would have turned 84 today. He is remembered most for his social reforms legislated throughout four (4) terms as senator. To name a few of his laws are the Senior Citizens Act, Free High School Law, the Agriculture and Fisheries Modernization Act (AFMA), creation of institution such as the PhilHealth, Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and Technical Education and Skills Authority (TESDA).
