Villar files COC for senator: Re-electionist Senator Cynthia Villar files her certificate of candidacy for a second term as senator at the Commission on Elections headquarters in Intramuros, Manila. Villar is running under the Nacionalista Party and was accompanied by husband former Senate President Manny Villar, eldest son Manuel Paolo and daughter, Camille. Villar said she will continue to pursue legislative measures to improve competitiveness of the agriculture sector and increase the income of farmers.
