Lowering the production cost of growing palay: Sen. Cynthia A. Villar, together with officers of partner organizations, inspect on the shredder which will be used during the free training course on rice farm mechanization and inbred and rice seeds production. Villar, chair of the Senate committee on agriculture and food, leads the launching of the nine-day program during its launching at the Villar SIPAG Farm School in Bacoor, Cavite. Through the training program, she said our farmers will be ready to switch to the modern way of farming and help them to compete against imported rice.
