Villar at Isla Puting Bato: Re-electionist Sen. Cynthia A. Villar was warmly welcomed by residents of Isla Puting Bato in Tondo, Manila during the signing of the Memorandum (MOA) which provides a relocation site for them. The MOA also states that five hectares of land under the Philippines Port Authority (PPA) would be given to 2000 families residing at Isla Puting Bato. Villar, known as “Misis Hanepbuhay,” has also been providing livelihood to poor communities to uplift the lives of residents.
