Villar Leads Prayer for the Nation: Re-electionist Sen. Cynthia A. Villar was among the Speakers during the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ 4th Watch, Prayer for the Nation, held in Marikina City. The senator called on everyone to unite in prayers for a peaceful nation especially with the upcoming midterm elections in May. She also asked the cooperation of everyone for a progressive Philippines. Villar, along with three other senators being supported by Hugpong ng Pagbabago and PDP- Laban, was invited by Pentecostal Missionary founder Apostle Arsenio Ferriol to this event.
