Her father’s daughter: Senator Imee Marcos takes her oath as one of the 18th Congress’ senators last Monday, July 22. She was former Ilocos Norte governor who made a successful Senate bid in the last mid-term elections. Her father, the late Pres. Ferdinand E. Marcos, was elected senator from 1959 to 1965.
