Unbowed, uncowed: Despite the relentless efforts by the current regime to silence Opposition Senator Leila M. de Lima from standing up against its crooked policies, her principles remain unbent, her spirits unbroken, as she appears today (Sept. 27) at the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 205 to face one of the trumped-up illegal drug trading cases filed against her.

De Lima, widely regarded by the international community as a prisoner of conscience, continues to receive support from personalities and organizations here and abroad. Just recently, US Senator Marco Rubio called for the unconditional release of De Lima, while Senator Dick Durbin introduced a motion in the US Senate to restrict Philippine government officials who are responsible for her unjust detention from entering the US.
