Help for distressed OFWs: Four distressed OFWs, including a Marawi siege survivor, thanked Senator Cynthia A. Villar for the livelihood assistance provided to them to start a new life in the country. The four suffered various forms of abuses while working abroad. Each of them received a start-up kit for a sari-sari store and financial assistance under the senator’s program for repatriated OFWs who were maltreated or victimized by illegal recruitment.
