Las Pinas drug rehab center inaugurated: TO help address the huge gap between drug dependents and treatment facilities Sen. Cynthia Villar and Health Secretary Francisco Duque lead the soft opening of the Las Pinas Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Center in Las Pinas City. Villar says the rehab center is part of their contribution to the administration’s campaign against illegal drugs. “Through this facility, we can now have a place in Las Piñas and neighboring cities to transform drug-dependent individuals into fully responsible and productive members of our society,” says the senator whose family renovated and transformed two idle buildings it into a rehab center. Villar and Duque were joined by Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Usec. Ricojudge Janvier Echiverri, Las Pinas Rep. Camille Villar and Mayor Mel Aguilar, among others.
