Signing of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Universal Health Care Law: Akbayan Senator Risa Hontiveros on Thursday led the signing of the implementing rules and regulations of the Universal Health Care Law (Republic Act 11223) in a ceremony held at Manila City. Hontiveros was a co-author and co-sponsor of the law, which expands access to quality and affordable healthcare in the country. Also present were Quezon 4th District Representative Angelina Tan, Health Secretary Francisco Duque III, and PhilHealth President Ricardo Morales.
