“The De Lima demeanor”: Nearing her 1,000th day of most unjust detention (960th today, October 11), Opposition Senator Leila M. de Lima draws everyone’s attention with her composed and dignified demeanor as she arrives this morning at the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court to attend the resumption of hearing on the fake illegal drug charges filed against her by the vindictive Duterte regime.

De Lima is set to attend two hearings today at RTC Branches 205 and 256. Last Oct. 4, Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra signed Department Order No. 525, deploying an "army of special prosecutors" led by Prosecutor General Benedicto Malcontento to litigate the Senator’s cases. De Lima, resolutely standing by her innocence, detests this latest move to further persecute her for being the staunchest critic of the current administration.
