DOT Honors Sen. Villar in the DOT Farm Tourism Summit: Sen. Cynthia A. Villar cites the combination of agriculture and tourism as a potent and effective fool for agricultural growth and alleviation of the life of Filipino farmers and fisherfolks. During the DOT Farm Tourism Summit held at Dusit Thani Manila in Makati City where she was Guest Speaker, Villar extolls that the Farm Tourism Act was one of the first legislations she authored and passed as a senator.

In the said occasion, the DOT gave Villar a Certificate of Appreciation for her significant contribution to the farm tourism that spur the growth of the country’s agricultural and tourism industry.
