Moving towards digital career: Sen. Sonny Angara says telecommuting or work from home has become a new normal for offices that continue to function with the extended period of lockdown because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Angara, during the Committee on Labor, Employment and Human Resources Development hybrid hearing Wednesday, June 24, 2020, said there are about 35 digital jobs in the market today. He said government agencies such as the Commission on Higher Education, TESDA, the Department of Information and Communications Technology and the Department of Labor and Employment should provide career framework involving education and skills training to support its citizens.
