VILLAR ON THE CASE VS SATUR OCAMPO

We should keep in mind that Congressman Satur Ocampo is a duly elected public official. Thus the government should accord him with courtesy and respect befitting an elected public official. He should not be treated as a common criminal.

The law itself says a person is considered innocent until proven guilty. Congressman Satur should not be subjected to trial by publicity. He should be provided with the due process of the law like any citizen of the country. He should have his day in court and his human rights should not be violated.
