KIKO HONORED BY QC LOCAL OFFICIALS

Senate Majority Leader and former Quezon City councilor Kiko Pangilinan was honored today by the Quezon City city council through a resolution expressing support for the senator's reelection bid. " We are humbled by this gesture of our Quezon City official, and by the pouring in of support from different sectors over the past week," Kiko said.

Kiko started his political career as city councilor of Quezon City after graduating from the University of the Philippines, where he was a Student Council chair. When Kiko officially started his campaign last month, he visited the QC city hall to go back to his political roots.

"We have always been grateful to the people of Quezon City and its officials. my belief that progress for the Philippines will emanate from our local government units was developed by my experience as a city councilor. This is an integral part of my platform , and we will continue this advocacy should our people trust us once more this coming elections," Kiko ended.
