VILLAR MOST TRUSTED PUBLIC OFFICIAL

Senate President Manny Villar is still the most trusted public official in the country today, based on the latest PulseAsia nationwide survey conducted from April 21 to 25.

Among the top government leaders in the country, the Senate President received the highest trust rating at 57 percent.

The latest PulseAsia survey results gave Villar a consistent lead, considering his same position in the past three PulseAsia surveys.

I am deeply honored by this citation which directly comes from the people. It outweighs all other badges of recognition considering the tremendous respect it bestows, and the hard work and perseverance necessary to earn it.

I share this with all my colleagues in the Senate who have displayed exemplary performance and teamwork in making the institution most relevant and trustworthy.

This is the peoples way of rating government leaders and letting them know how they feel about governance.

For this I am most thankful and shall bear the continued challenge to work for public good with the same mettle, Villar said.
