KIKO CONDEMNS NO-FLY ZONE, RAISES ALARM ON GROWING GOVERNMENT REPRESSION

Senate Majority Leader and Independent senator Kiko Pangilinan today scored the government for implementing the no fly zone in Makati.

"The list of illegal and unlawful acts grows longer. This is an attempt at hiding the truth about the growing disenchantment and the popular outcry against the administration as seen in the number of protestors in Makati." Kiko said.

The Air and Transportation Office (ATO) declared that only authorized AFP and PNP air vehicles are allowed to fly in the Makati Business district from 5pm to 8pm yesterday.

"The more they try to hide the truth, the more they fan the flames of outrage and anger now being felt by our people. The no fly zone policy is another attempt by this government at preventing the truth from reaching our people. The act is deplorable and violates our right to a free press. This is another unconstitutional act committed by government." Kiko ended.
