KIKO: LEDAC PRIORITY BILLS PASSED BY SENATE--
"Three bills a month or 1 bill per week..."

As the Senate adjourned sine die its first regular session of the 14th Congress, Senate Majority Leader and Independent senator Kiko Pangilinan today cited the Senate's accomplishments and reiterated the Upper Chamber's commitment to passing vital measures for the people.

"The Senate has been steadfast in passing vital measures that will pave the way for improvements in crucial fields such as tourism, education, the pre-need industry, among others," Kiko said.

Passed on 3rd reading yesterday on the Senate's last session before adjourning sine die were the measure that declares a national policy for tourism, the measure on Amusement Tax, which reduces the tariff on the movie industry, and the Pre-need bill, which regulates the establishment of pre-need industries.
