This is clearly a political accommodation. By appointing the kings of Hawks as deputy peace adviser shows just how serious Mrs. Arroyo is in continuing the war in Mindanao! It seems that Chavit does not have the credibility to seriously negotiate peace. But perhaps his love for guns and weapons and reputation as a tough guy quality him in the eyes of Malacanang!
