Villar couple offers prayers for Cory

Sen. Manny Villar and his wife, Las Piñas Rep. Cynthia Villar, offered special masses for former President Corazon Aquino as she battles cancer of the colon.

In a letter to his colleague in the Senate, Sen. Benigno Aquino III, Villar said special masses are offered for the spiritual healing of President Aquino in Las Pinas churches.

These churches include the Our Lady of Fatima (Philam Village) for the 8 am, 9 am and 10 am masses; Mary of the Church Parish (BFRV, Talon II) for the 7 am, 8:15 am, 9:30 am and 10:45 am masses; Mary Immaculate Parish (Moonwalk Village) for the 7 am, 8:30 am, and 10 am masses; and St. Joseph Parish Church (Padre Diego Cera Ave.) for the 6 pm mass.

Villar said the people of Las Piñas join the Filipino nation in praying for the speedy recovery of the woman who played a key role in the restoration of democracy in the country.
