Press Release July 26, 2010 ANGARA LAYS DOWN LEGISLATIVE AGENDA FOR THE 15TH CONGRESS As Congress opens today, Senator Edgardo J. Angara enumerated his legislative priorities that include bills on banking and finance, education, science and technology, culture and the arts, health, infrastructure, and human capital development. "The Senate should lead in pursuing strategic reforms in order to sustain the country's growth. There is a common sentiment among members of the Senate to pursue genuine, honest to goodness reform. We want to see a more systematic, more purposeful discussion of public policy - and not just garden-variety legislation but laws of real national significance," he said. Among Angara's priority bills include:
